Blog 1: Summer Mentorship Component

We want you to have success and we know from prior experience an important part of any project is the mentorship experience (aka service learning).  We also want the project to be significant to you and your future.     The summer component is meant to get you started.  You are assigned to do 10 hours of volunteering at any place where you think it will help you choose a senior project.  If you choose not to do your project on this topic because of the experience, then it still counts toward the component.

I will be coming in and showing you how to make the blog.  At that point, you are welcome to make your blog your own and after you complete the hours, then you would complete blog 1.  If you are ever not sure, email me clay909@gmail.com and ask or look at 2012 blogs for clarity.

*Please do not turn in your mentorship hours to the office.  After we collect the total list from all seniors, we will turn in one piece of paper will all hours for everybody.  It is counted as 10 hours of the 200 you need in order to graduate from I-Poly.  This holds true with all hours you do in the mentorship component.
