Monday's Homework!

Yeah. I can't believe I'm at school either. I saw some cool tweets throughout the day though that sorta cheered me up, mostly talking about the same worksheet in Ogden's we been working on for the past month and how ALEKS will save our grades, and some interesting stuff like~ 

Research showing we eat too much! And, a little bit more amusing and less daunting, Drake Bell being Drake Bell and awesome.

Asides from pointless news articles to distract you, here's some more important stuff going on at le poly:

Ortega: 
  • iSearch.................
  • Follow the deadlines and you should be good! 
      • Tuesdays (first draft) 
      • Wednesdays (peer review)
      • Saturday Mornings @ 8am (revised draft)
  • We were given the contract/outline how the entire paper should be done, look at nonfiction books for inspiration 
  • Tuesday (as in tomorrow 12am... 11:59)  Introduction is due! 1-2 pages. We worked a half in hour in class, so you should have some idea where it's going.
Ogden:
  • Go over the same worksheet we have been talking about for the last month (62, I think, I don't even know anymore)
  • Go over ALEKS expectations and basic idea~
    • 10% of your grade + quizzes + assignments 
    • 2 hours a week minimum
    • No crazy low topic/hr
    • Constant growth
Purther: 
  • As a partnership, watch and rated campaign commercials as a class to understand the four levels of effectiveness in an ad 
  • Next rotation Bring back the handout 
Pittman: 
  • Learn about electrical conduction 
  • Thursday April 11th Redo the lab report and answer questions A, E, H, O, and U
  • Next rotation bring a 9 bolt batter

  • Research check during Purther's core (the 4-block) on Thursday.  Please update your WB on your blog.  Do not bring in a copy your WB.  The WB on your blog will be checked. 
  • Prom information.  Sales start Tuesday and end Next Tuesday.  Click here!

  • Buy "Boutonnieres and Corsage"
  • Bring candy $ if you haven't
  • Interview 4 is due Friday 4/19 at 8AM to turnitin.com and verification to your house teacher
