Mentorship

Graduation

• Be at the graduation site at 9:00 AM.  Check in with your House Teacher by 9:15 AM to get your card for the line up.  

Tuesday (Last day of school) or Monday after Graduation

• Stop by my room and I will give you your 9th and 11th grade lettters

Grad Night is Thursday

Grad Night:

• Meet at iPoly by 6:30 PM.  Don't be late, be early.
• Pay $71 to me by Wednesday at 3PM (unless you are East, pay $57).
• Tomorrow, your house teacher will have a permission slip for you to fill out and return.   The permission slip is also due by Wednesday at 3PM.   If you don't get a copy, click here.

Six Flags Magic Mountain seriously enforces the dress code.  Please review:

DRESS CODE
The dress code for Grad Nite at Six Flags Magic Mountain applies to all participants including students and guests. Anyone not adhering to the event dress code may not be granted admission without finding alternate clothing. It is the school’s responsibility to ensure all participants are dressed appropriately prior to arriving at Grad Nite. Any student or guest not permitted because of dress code must remain accompanied by a chaperone until a resolution has been found.
Acceptable for Everyone: DRESS TO IMPRESS!

• Jeans
  
• Khakis or dress pants
  
• Jackets / Sweatshirts / Sweaters (gentlemen must wear a collared shirt underneath)
  
• Any apparel/clothing purchased at Six Flags Grad Nite.
  
• Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
  
• Gentlemen must wear a collared shirt. Polo or Button Down collared style shirts are acceptable.
  
• Acceptable for the ladies:
  o Purses(nolargerthan8.5”x11”)
  o Dresses or Skirts (nomorethan3”abovetheknee)  
  o Capri’s
  o Blouses
  

Please note these important requirements NOT PERMITTED:

• No T- shirts
  
• No Shorts
  
• No Backpacks or any large duffle bags
  
• No clothing affiliated with a school, sports team, group, club, etc. (i.e. letterman jackets, clothing with school logos, etc., including groups with matching shirts, pants, etc.)
  
• No clothing in poor condition (torn jeans and shirts, etc.)
  
• No extremely revealing clothing (i.e. bathing suit tops or bottoms, tops showing midriff, see-through
  clothing, etc.)
  
• No briefcases, hip packs (fanny packs), camera bags, tote bags, or oversized purses are allowed.
  
• No headwear of any kind (Hats, Bandana’s or Beanies)
  
• No clothing or belts with spikes, sharp studs, chains- (no wallet chains)
  

Graduation Cords

I have the Young Scholars list, so next week I will be issuing cords for those students.  If you took a college class at a community college and want a cord, please bring me unofficial transcripts and I will issue you a cord.

Prom Photos

If you didn't get your prom photos, you need to tell me so I can follow up with the order list.   Email me. 

I have identified 2 people who have not received their prom photos.  You should get the photos tomorrow sometime.  

Senior Dedications

When:  Friday May 31st & Friday June 7
Time:  8AM-9:26AM

The dedication is a compiled recording of every senior thanking who they want to thank for their graduation.  It is played for 30 minutes prior to graduation.  Guests listen to it as you set up in the graduation line.

Be prepared!!   If you aren't prepared, then Paul will excuse you from the room and you won't be able to have your dedication recorded.

Is it required?  No!  It is by choice.

Grad Night

Hey All!

Some of you have been asking me about the price of Grad Night.  Grad Night is Thursday June 13th.  We will meet at iPoly by 6:15PM to check in, get your ticket, go over the rules etc.

At this point, I expect the prices to be:

Winning House:  $57
Other Three Houses:  $71

The ticket price comes with an unlimited buffet from 9PM to 11PM.  

If you are writing checks, please write them to iPoly.    If the prices change, I will update you on the blog.   Please plan to start paying on Friday June 7th.  I will take money up to Wednesday at 3:00 PM the day before (June 12th).

Reminder:  Monday May 20th at 8AM is the Grad Night cut off.  You will need to be passing your courses to be eligible for Grad Night.  

Senior Breakfast is separate event and starts when we return in the morning. I expect we will be back by 7AM or 7:15AM.  Every senior is eligible for senior breakfast.  We have already paid for your breakfast with fundraising.

The last IFest 2013!

iFest

 What a great day!   We made $271 at the iFest Barbecue and another $260 from Talent of the Masters.  We also put together two simple, effective and fun booths and we had a number of great performances.  2013 showed their excellence like usual today. Thanks for all your effort!
