Model Assembly: Review the Committees

Big Idea:   Finding a bill component requires that you find a bill in a specific committee.

Instructions:

• Click here and review the "Standing Committees" on this site by clicking on each one.
• Each group picks 2 committees that interest them.

Roles: Facilitator needs to follow up with group to make sure there was a discussion about the different committees and why the group had decided to put what they put for their top 2.

Rule of Three:

• Did the group come to class with their 2 choices?
• Did all group members check out the link?
• Did the facilitator follow up to make sure their was a discussion among the group about the possible choices?
