12/10-12/11 ROTO HWK

Seasons greetings, hope everyone is still functioning after that survey. There were some funny stories shared today, including security catching Emani all the way in Studio City, exploding light things in Rancho, and needing a chinese translator in Chino Hills. But, as far as the homework goes, here's what's going on kittens (it's quite a bit, sorry):

Tomorrow is second block study hall.   Come prepared to work in house on something Model Assembly or Senior Project related.   Westside will be watching 9th grade presentations.

Adopt-a-Family

• Shopping team is shopping this week.  If you want to go, follow up with Stephany, Taryn or Yareli.   
• If you want to help wrap, come Friday at lunch to Purther's.
• And we are now delivering the gifts in the afternoon on Saturday.   We will meet at iPoly or at the Holiday Party where we are delivering which is Glendale at the Americana Outdoor Mall.  I have a graduation to attend for an iPoly alumni at 10AM,  so we will go right after that.  I am hoping to make it to Glendale by 12. 

Ortega:

• For their assessment for the library trip, be on time, bring your student ID, and need to show some proof of checking a book out or printing something (and be prepared to give your 3 minute speech at your assigned time to Ortega)
• Please, please, please print out your speech draft and peer review mark. It is expected we share our speeches during class as well as learn a mini lesson on counter arguments
• Bring your laptop to the library when your class goes (Wed or Thurs)
• Speech due on library date to be graded at (Wed or Thurs)
• You will be graded based on delivery, content, and length
• Don't mark my word, but room 2907. That is all. 

Ogden:

• Survey report due and presentations 

Purther:

• Notebooks are due to Purther before winter break
• Get it done, done, done, done.

Pitman: 

• ESA graph must be chosen in your group to be able to turn into an actual statistic for your bill
• In other words, pick a graph, and make it work for your bill.

Senior Project:

• Not sure what this means, but Purther asked if anyone has read 3 articles for s/p. Be suspicious. 
• Research and update blog weekly. 

Model Assembly: 

• WEST: survey due tomorrow, Tuesday
• BILL SUMMARY is due Wednesday 8 AM to Purther via email. Check blog for additional instructions (yes, scroll down. It isn't scary I swear)
• PROBLEM, SOLUTION, PARTY, STANCE SPEECH will be given Friday. 
• Must be 45 seconds to 1 minute max (each student needs to be prepared to give either  a problem, solution, or party stance speech)
• ESA due Thursday 8am

Senior ASB:

• See Adopt-A-Family below for more information
• Secret Santa is due Tuesday December 18th by the beginning of second block
• House party for the Holidays is after a research check on Tuesday December 18th second block
• Bring sweater money
• Drama Fall Production of "The Lady on the House" is on Wednesday December 12th 4PM-6PM; Thursday December 13th 4PM-6PM & 8PM-10PM; Saturday December 15th 7PM-9PM
• See Nick to turn in your $10 for reunion if you haven't.  

And, in other news, Biggie Smalls autopsy report has finally been released. 15 years later. Night guys!
