Model Assembly:
- Day one is tomorrow. Report to your committee house and we will be presenting our 45 second to one minute speech. Each person must present for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
- Bills are not killed or passed tomorrow, just a basic debate to help prepare for day 2 next week.
- Bills are killed Day Two and Four, while day three is parrrrrrtaay! platform.
- Normal Research Check on Tuesday
- Research folder with 12 sources on Tuesday
- Exit Interview handout responses due Friday the 22nd
- Dress appropriately for day four at West Co and exit interview to get kudos.
- Republicans are the majority party, so they will be the majority chair in each committee.
- Purther sent out assessments for Bill Component. If you did not receive the email, that means you are proficient. You could be AE, but you need to wait for the assessments to be issued at the next progress report to see if you are.
Core, Parties, Other Stuff:
- Ortega is taken care of! Give her a celebratory pat on the back for listening to speeches for two days in a row.
- Ogden heads and tails assignment.
- Purther's notebook is due by the 21st (next Friday), and turn in 1984 handout by the end of school on Friday (14th).
- Pittman worksheet was to be turned in during the 2 hour block, but read the relativity unit if you're bored and want thuglife on your test next time :-)
- Hunzeker Announcement: If they have parents at two different
addresses, we need BOTH addresses in our data base. Please contact Ms.
Shelton or me (Hunzeker) to provide that SECOND address.
- Bring in decoration stuff for Friday's house block tomorrow. (there's no research check then.)
