Homework for ROTO 10/24-10/25

House Competition:  Average Test Score for Kinematics Test: South won
       South:  27.6; West: 24.96552; East: 24.43333; North:  24.06667

There is no four core rotation tomorrow.

Ogden: Finish "Surveys, Voting, and Censuses" worksheet

Purther: I didn't realize this, but the presentation is actually FIVE minutes, not ten. Sorry if there was any confusion. (I hope this teaches you to look at the actual contract.) Those presentations start tomorrow, South will present on Friday. Remember to share your google docs presentation with clay909@gmail.com and bring the presentation on a flash drive.

Model Assembly C2:  The Bill.  Next week, we will start picking the overall issues we will be examining in Model Assembly.  Click here and take a look at possible options (not homework, just for your review).

Melogno/Pittman: 2D vectors quiz tomorrow, North takes it on Friday. Do Pg 98 #1-7, 19-22, & 25 for extra practice. Also for the science fair journal, find 5-10 variables in your project. Include the variable, unit, definition and tool used. She also says that you should be writing entries in your journal using the format in the guide provided. Click here if you need the guide for the journal, which also includes prompt. Scroll down to "journal guidelines."

Ortega: Last LC prep discussion, so you should have finished the book by now ... Remember to work on your culminating LC presentation. Also, a final, polished version of you personal narrative is due on Friday. (Technically Saturday, but Ortega wants you to think Friday.)

Important stuff:
  • Tonight: Be sure to send your sweatshirt color vote to seniorasbclassof2013@gmail.com. Due by 8PM.
  • Thursday: 2D vectors quiz in Melogno, five minute presentations in Purther
  • Friday: Interview 2 (Q&A to turnitin.com, justification sheet to house teacher,) research check, another game of Spoons, recycling check and Scare Fair materials due
  • Upcoming Monday/Tuesday: Individual 10 minute presentations on your senior project. Good luck!
I feel so bad. Purther likes my updates for the weird humor in it, but there's none in them lately. Sorry Purther!
